Natural/starting level – levels 3 through to 6, old box dye on the ends.

Formula A - 25g 6.1 + 25g 7.1 + 5g 6.2 + 55g 20vol + 10g Silver

Formula B - 30g 7.1 + 10g 6.1 + 5g 6.2 + 45g 30vol + 10g Silver

Formula C - Cream Bleach with 40vol 1:1

Formula D - 15g 9.12 + 5g 6.2 + 40g 6vol + 10g Silver + 3g Pearl

Application

1. Applied formula A through roots and feathered down to mid lengths.
2. Formula B was applied to mid lengths and was processed for 30mins.
3. Shampoo/condition with GKMBJ Hydrating Shampoo and GKMBJ Honey Crème Conditioner and then dry the hair before next step.
4. Sectioned the hair in four starting from the back apply Formula C using balayage free hand technique and placing a piece of foil over each section.
5. Processed for 45min then shampoo/condition with GKMBJ Colour Lock Shampoo and GKMBJ Intensive Nourishing Treatment.
6. On towel dried hair apply GKMBJ Energising Spa Equaliser then tone over the top with Formula D. Process for 10min. Rinse and condition with Intensive Nourishing Treatment for 5min.
7. Finished off styling using GKMBJ Protein Leave In and GKMBJ Cuticle Repairing Serum.

Our colour specialist Lana had a great day at Hair Co-op. The Summer Breeze Blonde and Toning class gave participants the skills, theory and hands on practical with models to create these highlighted looks using the GKMBJ blonde and toner range. Follow these 3 formulas to recreate these enhanced blonde tones.

 

Formula 1 - Beige Bonde

This formula is a cocktail toner.

For the roots we used:
- 10 grams of 11.1, plus
- 10 grams of 11.7, plus
- 10 grams of silver concentrate, plus
- 20 grams of 10 vol peroxide, plus
- 5 grams of GKMBJ Spa Equaliser Cream.

On the ends we used:
- 10 grams of 11.1, plus
- 10 grams of 11.7, plus
- 10 grams of 11.13, plus
- 10 grams of silver concentrate, plus
- 30 grams of 10 vol peroxide, plus
- 5 grams of GKMBJ Spa Equaliser Cream.

Processing time from roots to ends of 30 minutes.

Rinse the hair using GKMBJ Blonde Revitalising Shampoo.

Follow with GKMBJ Nourishing Treatment for hydration.

 

Formula 2 - Ash Blonde

This formula required a full head of foils with:
- equal parts of GKMBJ blue bleach, plus
- equal parts of 10 vol peroxide, plus
- 6 grams of Link 1+ Treatment into the mix.

For the roots we used:
- 20 grams of 11.1, plus
- 10 grams of silver concentrate, plus
- 20 grams of 30 vol peroxide, plus
- 20 grams of 40 vol peroxide.

Processing time of 60 minutes with no heat.

To tone the foils we used:
- 20g of 11.01, plus
- 40 grams of 6 vol peroxide, plus
- 10 grams of pearl concentrate.

Time of 15 minutes, always adding GKMBJ Spa Equaliser Cream to the GKMBJ colour mixes.

Rinse the hair using GKMBJ Blonde Revitalising Shampoo.

Use 15 grams of Link 2++ Treatment and leave on the hair for 15 minutes, then rinse.

 

Formula 3 - Violet Blonde

This formula required a full head of foils with:
- equal parts of GKMBJ blue bleach, plus
- equal parts of 20 vol peroxide, plus
- 6 grams of Link 1+ Treatment into the mix.

We then rinsed the foils at the basin with GKMBJ Nourishing Shampoo.

Towel dry the hair well to take out the moisture then mix the following as a toner;
- 30 grams of 10.12, plus
- 30 grams of 10 vol, plus
- 7 grams of violet mix, plus
- 5 grams of GKMBJ Spa Equaliser Cream.

Leave on the hair for 20 minutes.

Rinse off the toner with GKMBJ Blonde Revitalising Shampoo.

Use the GKMBJ Spa Equaliser Cream as a treatment at the basin for 15 minutes. Voila.
